S-28: Understanding Our Proficiency Based Standard: The AP Spanish Language & Culture Exam LIMITED

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

Proficiency-based instruction has to start in lower levels if our non-heritage students are to reach an Intermediate High or Advanced level of proficiency on the AP exam. How can a level one or two teacher align instruction if he/she doesn’t understand the proficiency standard for their students? This session will breakdown the AP Spanish Language & Culture exam, challenge participants to do what their students are tasked with on the exam and leave you with a springboard to help align proficiency-based instruction through the lower levels. If we are tasked with teaching with the end in mind, we must first know what the “end” is. Bring your internet-connected laptop and smart phone with the free Voice Record app downloaded.
